We are still in the early stages of the 2018 SEC Tournament, but thus far, Alabama has provided the highlight of St. Louis. Thanks to freshman point guard Collin Sexton, who drove the length of the court for the game-winning layup as time expired to beat Texas A&M, the Crimson Tide helped their NCAA Tournament dramatically on Thursday.

According to ESPN’s Basketball Power Index, Alabama improved its odds to get into the NCAA Tournament significantly with the win. The Tide entered the game with a 43 percent chance of making it into the tournament but now have a 99.7 percent chance, per ESPN’s BPI.

However, CBS Sports Bracketologist Jerry Palm claims that the win over Texas A&M may not be enough for Alabama to get into the field. According to Palm, the Tide still need to beat Auburn to earn a spot in March Madness.

The opening line for the game favors Auburn by 5.5 points.
