The Ole Miss Rebels already have one of the nation’s best receiving corps, with AJ Brown, D.K. Metcalf, DaMarkus Lodge and Dawson Knox leading the way.

Now, it appears the next great receiver may already be in Oxford, based on coach Matt Luke’s reaction to Saturday’s scrimmage.

As you can see around the 3:55 mark of the below video, Luke said freshman WR Elijah Moore made a few big plays in the scrimmage:

“Elijah Moore showed up,” he said. “He was probably the talk afterwards of the fans and everybody because he made several plays in space.”

Coming out of high school, Moore was a 4-star receiver from Florida. He was the No. 38 receiver in the class of 2018 and the No. 34 overall recruit from the state of Florida, per the 247Sports composite.
