Former Tennessee DB Manny Moseley didn’t hear his name called during the 2018 NFL Draft, but he was quickly scooped up by the San Francisco 49ers on a free-agent deal.
Now, he’s trying to make the 53-man roster, and a huge play on Saturday against the Houston Texans will go a long way toward helping him reach that goal.
As you can see in the video below, Moseley made a diving interception on a tipped pass, then had the awareness to get up and turn the interception into a long return:

There was a penalty on the return, though, so the Niners were backed up a bit and didn’t end up turning the interception into points.
Still, it was a great play by Moseley, and one that will go a long way toward helping him keep a job throughout the 2018 season.
