Former Alabama player Aaron Robinson carted off field in opening kickoff of UCF game

This isn’t what you want to see on the opening kickoff of the season.

UCF DB — and former Alabama player — Aaron Robinson was carted off the field following the opening kickoff.

ESPNU reportedly announced that Robinson moved his feet. So, that’s positive news.

Robinson was a 3-star recruit in the class of 2016 for Alabama. The Deerfield Beach (Fla.) product flipped his commitment from Florida on Alabama on National Signing Day. After fielding a wide range of offers including Baylor, N.C. State and Oregon, Robinson opted to return to the Sunshine State and transfer to UCF.

As a freshman for Alabama, Robinson played in 13 games on special teams and in a rotational role on defense. He recorded five total tackles, including one for loss.
