Cam Newton makes large donation to Hurricane Florence relief efforts

Hurricane Florence recently ravaged the Carolina coast, and now the states are trying to rebuild.
This week, those efforts got a big boost from the Carolina Panthers, as Julius Peppers announced he was donating $100,000 to the relief efforts.
Then, as you can see in the tweet below, former Auburn QB Cam Newton decided to match Peppers’ donation:

That money will go to good use, and more money will be needed to help the damaged areas rebuild.
Classy gesture from the Carolina quarterback, who has become a pillar of the Carolina community in recent years.
