The Kentucky Wildcats are one of the hottest teams in the country. Currently, they’re 4-0 with wins over Mississippi State and Florida on their resume.
They face a tough home test against South Carolina on Saturday, but for now, all is positive in Lexington.
Are the Wildcats contenders in the SEC East, though? Tim Tebow said on SportsCenter on Saturday morning that he thinks they are:
“I actually see them as contenders,” he said. “I really do, because the team is taking on the personality of Benny Snell their running back, who’s one of the best players in the SEC and one of the best players in the country. This kid, he’s not the most explosive; he’s not the fastest. But he plays with so much heart and he plays so hard. The entire team is playing with that personality.”
Kentucky is ranked and everything is going well, but tough tests remain.
However, this team seems equipped to at least remain competitive moving forward.
