Report: Kelly Bryant receives release papers from Clemson
The Clemson Tigers are now officially without senior QB Kelly Bryant, according to a report from Rivals reporter Woody Wommack.
Bryant hadn’t officially gotten his release papers when freshman QB Trevor Lawrence went down with an injury on Saturday, but now that coach Dabo Swinney has said he expects Lawrence to play this weekend, Bryant seems to be on his way out.
Wommack reports that Bryant has already graduated from Clemson and can now communicate with other college coaches:
A source close to the situation tells me that Kelly Bryant received his release papers from Clemson today and will now begin communicating with college coaches. Bryant has already graduated but schools were hesitant to contact him directly until he had the written release.

A couple of SEC teams that have been mentioned as potential landing spots for Bryant are Auburn and Arkansas, but there is sure to be plenty of interest in the talented dual-threat quarterback.
What happens next remains to be seen, but Bryant should have a few great options for his final collegiate season.
