The LSU Tigers will enter Saturday night’s game as about a two-touchdown underdog against No. 1 Alabama.

However, upsets happen all the time in college football, so it wouldn’t be a huge shock to see LSU defend Tiger Stadium and hand the Tide their first loss of the year.

On Friday morning, SEC Network analyst Tim Tebow joined ESPN’s “First Take” and, as you can see in the video below, shared by ESPN on YouTube, laid out the blueprint the Tigers will need to follow for an upset:

“Number one, you have to find a way to get at least two turnovers. I think that is the most important thing… is find a way to get the crowd into it, and you can do that with turnovers. Number two, I think you’ve got to find a way to hold Alabama to field goals. They’re going to move the ball, they’re going to get some big plays, but hold them to field goals. Three, not six.

“And finally, I think Joe Burrow has to find a way to get at least three third downs with his legs. Yes, he’s got to play good with his arm, but he has to do it with his legs. If he’s able to get third downs with his legs, it keeps LSU having the ball, Tua off the field, time of possession, crowd into it… I think that’s the game plan. That’s a recipe to win for LSU.”

That, of course, will be easier said than done, so we’ll have to see if the Tigers can indeed follow that blueprint. One thing is a guarantee, though — that LSU crowd is going to be wild.
