WATCH: McKenzie Milton takes first steps since devastating knee injury 5 months ago
By now, you probably know that UCF QB McKenzie Milton suffered a serious knee injury in UCF’s final regular-season game in 2018.
Perhaps you’d forgotten — after all, it was five long months ago. Five long months of surgeries and rehab for the Knights’ star, who had yet to take a step on his own.
That all changed this week, as you can see in the video below, with Milton walking on his own for a few steps:

That’s awesome to see, even though he still has a gigantic leg brace on. There’s still a long way to go in rehab, but this is a very encouraging sign.
Milton is back on his feet, and we can’t wait to see what’s next in the rehab process for the talented quarterback.
