Saturday wasn’t a great day for the LSU Tigers, as they trailed the Vanderbilt Commodores 13-4 through seven innings in the SEC Baseball Tournament semifinal.

However, senior OF Antoine Duplantis added another record to his great career in Baton Rouge with a leadoff triple in the bottom of the sixth inning.

As you can see below, Duplantis lines a ball into the left field corner and motors around to third for his 16th career three-bagger:

That breaks a tie with LSU legend Todd Walker, who finished his great Tiger career with 15 triples.

LSU might not win on Saturday, but Duplantis and the Tigers will be a part of the upcoming NCAA Tournament, so their season isn’t over yet.
