Florida announces team captains for season opener against Miami

Florida and Miami are set to open the 150th season of college football Saturday night in the primetime game of Week 0 and the Gators have just announced which three players have been honored as team captains for the event.

The senior trio of linebacker David Reese II and receivers Freddie Swain and Josh Hammond will take the field first for the Gators Saturday night to meet the Hurricanes for the first coin flip of the 150th season of college football.

The game is set to kick off from Orlando’s Camping World Stadium at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
