It hasn’t taken very long for Gator fans to start calling for the team’s backup quarterback to see the field.

Florida entered the season ranked as the nation’s No. 8 team but they haven’t lived up to the hype thus far, as the team is down 13-7 in the third quarter of team’s opener against Miami from Orlando.

While Feleipe Franks hasn’t been bad, he was responsible for one lost fumble in the red zone and was a part in another lost fumble in the first half of the game.

Despite a decent showing, many Gator fans are eager to see Dan Mullen turns over the keys to the offense to backup signal-caller Emory Jones.
