Prior to Eliah Drinkwitz being hired as the new Mizzou coach, Andy Hill had served as an assistant with the Tigers since 1996.

He won’t be back in 2020 as the Drinkwitz era begins, but his 24 years with the Tigers stands out. Now, though, he’ll have a new job.

Fortunately for Hill and his family, he won’t even have to leave the state. The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Friday that they were adding him to their staff:

The Chiefs announced he’ll serve as the assistant special teams coach. Dave Toub is the current special teams coordinator for Kansas City.

How long will he remain with the reigning Super Bowl champions? We’ll find out starting this fall.
