The No. 9 overall selection in the 2020 NFL Draft has officially been signed.

Draft prospects never know how far they will be moving following their selection during the NFL’s annual draft process but standout Gator cornerback CJ Henderson didn’t have to move very far as the Jacksonville Jaguars took the Florida defender in the first round this year.

After being taken with the No. 9 overall selection, Henderson just inked a four-year deal worth $20.5 million in fully guaranteed money. The Jaguars also own a fifth-year option for Henderson that can be exercised at a later date.

If you were unaware, NFL rookie contract figures are now slotted by their selection to avoid holdouts. The higher a player goes in the draft, the more their initial NFL contract is worth.

During his three seasons in Gainesville, Henderson registered 93 tackles, six interceptions, four sacks, 20 passes defended and two defensive touchdowns.
