Tennessee imposing its will early on Mizzou, Eric Gray goes untouched for 20-yard touchdown
So far, Tennessee is imposing its will against an over matched Missouri team.
Tennessee’s defense limited Missouri to just 13 yards on the Tigers’ first two possessions of the game while the Volunteers have 84 rushing yards on 17 carries early in the second quarter.
If not for a missed field goal by Brent Cimaglia, Tennessee would have jumped out to an early three-score lead.
The Volunteer defense isn’t the only unit playing well, as the team’s offense line is controlling the line of scrimmage early.
Here is an example of that, as sophomore running back Eric Gray went untouched on this 20-yard touchdown score.
