The Georgia Bulldogs are taking care of business against Kentucky Saturday and leading 14-3 in the 4th quarter.

No, it hasn’t been pretty for the Bulldogs, but it’s been effective, mostly due to Kentucky’s inept offense. The Bulldogs have rushed for 196 yards, as both Stetson Bennett and Zamir White have recorded rushing touchdowns.

Bennett hasn’t played well, however, and he’s now thrown 5 INTs in his last 2 games. He’s just 9-of-13 for 131 yards and 2 INTs against the Wildcats defense.

College GameDay analyst and former UGA standout David Pollack questions whether Bennett should even be playing. Pollack asks why wouldn’t the dual-threat D’Wan Mathis be playing if Georgia’s game plan is to just run it down teams’ throats.

Pollack makes a valid point, but Mathis’ struggles in Week 1 still looms large. UGA’s offense looked completely inept with Mathis at the helm against Arkansas.

Georgia has to get some things figured out before next week’s game against the Florida Gators.
