Brandon Johnson won’t be returning to Tennessee.

That’s because the graduate transfer has made the decision to finish out his college career with UCF. The Knights announced that news on Wednesday.

During his four seasons in Knoxville, Johnson caught 79 passes for 969 yards and one touchdown.

The decision to Florida isn’t much of a surprise as Johnson is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and signed with the Vols out of American Heritage High School.

Johnson would not be eligible to play next season if not for the NCAA’s decision to allow all athletes a free season of eligibility in 2020.
