Alabama fans know that if you want something exciting to happen, you get the ball to Jaylen Waddle.

Before his injury in 2020, Waddle was having an incredible season for the Crimson Tide. Despite the injury, Waddle still ended up as a first-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, going No. 6 overall to the Miami Dolphins.

Dolphins fans are going to quickly grow to love Waddle, too, especially if he keeps making big plays. In Miami’s preseason debut against the Chicago Bears on Saturday afternoon, Waddle got his first touch on a punt return.

As you can see below, he made the most of it, returning the punt for 22 yards and showing great field vision and speed:

If he can do things like that consistently, he’ll be one of the best punt returners in the NFL.

Now, we’ll see how he fares as a receiver, too.
