Ole Miss defender explains why he loves when Lane Kiffin goes for it on 4th down

Lane Kiffin wants to push the tempo offensively. He’s also not afraid to go for it on fourth down in almost any reasonable situation (and even some situations many would call unreasonable).
Sometimes, that backfires and puts his Ole Miss defense in less-than-ideal situations. But, the Rebels don’t mind.
After a thrilling 52-51 win over Arkansas on Saturday afternoon, LB Chance Campbell said he loves the mentality it shows when Kiffin repeatedly goes for it on fourth down:
Chance Campbell on Rebs going for it on 4th: "I love it when Coach has confidence in both our offense & our defense. When we make those, everyone thinks it's the greatest thing in the world. I love it. It's an attack mentality. I know what it does to a defense when you convert."

It’s a good thing Campbell and the Rebel defenders are on board, because Kiffin isn’t likely to change his style moving forward.
We’ll see if that leads to some more shootouts for Ole Miss as the season wears on.
