Sometimes being on the sideline isn’t enough to avoid taking a hard hit, as a Mississippi State cheerleader found out Saturday night.

Alabama quarterback Bryce Young was heading for the sideline when he got a push from Bulldog defender Nathaniel Watson. The push sent Young barreling into an MSU cheerleader on the sideline of Davis Wade Stadium.

The officials initially threw a flag on Watson’s hit but picked it up. Alabama’s Chris Owens also got in Watson’s face over the hit on the Crimson Tide QB.

Alabama leads 21-3 in the 2nd quarter. The game is airing on ESPN.
