Georgia blocks punt after hilariously bad protection by Mizzou

Georgia doesn’t need any help to be elite on defense or special teams.
However, in the second quarter of Saturday’s game from Athens, the Bulldogs were gifted a punt block from the Tigers.
As you can see below, Nolan Smith blocked a Grant McKinniss punt, which rolled out the back of the end zone for a safety:
BLOCK = SAFETY

Georgia loaded up the left side of the Mizzou offensive line. Mizzou had 0 blockers on the line of scrimmage over there. Whatever was going on with that plan, it needs to be changed moving forward.
Again, this Georgia defense and special teams unit is elite even when you have blockers in front of it. Don’t give the Dawgs any gifts like that. At least make it a challenge for them.
