Philadelphia picked up a 24-8 win Sunday in an NFC East matchup against Washington.

The Eagles also unveiled a new sideline tradition with the emergence of the Batman cape.

AJ Brown came up with the idea and donned the cape after catching a 9-yard touchdown pass from Jalen Hurts in the 2nd quarter.

The former Ole Miss standout had 5 catches for 85 yards in the game and afterward admitted that he had planned on breaking out the cape a week earlier for the home crowd in Philly instead of on the road.

He also humorously revealed where the cape came from.

Brown wasn’t the only former SEC standout to wear the cape Sunday.

Former Alabama star receive DeVonta Smith was awarded the cape after catching a 2-yard touchdown pass from Hurts just before halftime.

Smith finished the game with 8 receptions for 169 yards.
