The Alabama Crimson Tide are focused on landing 2020 commitments now, but on Monday night, they got started on their 2021 class, too.
The first player was a big one, as the Tide dipped into Austin, Texas, to pick up a commitment from 4-star CB Latrell McCutchin.
As you can see below, McCutchin announced his decision via Twitter on Monday evening, saying he’d be heading to Tuscaloosa for the 2021 season and beyond:

Per the 247Sports rankings, McCutchin is the No. 7 cornerback in the class of 2021 and the No. 21 overall recruit from the state of Texas.
He is the Tide’s first commitment of the 2021 cycle, and with him on board, Alabama’s class currently ranks No. 18 nationally and No. 5 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
