It looks like LSU fans may be at it again.

The Tigers fan base made news 10 years ago when it was reported that someone had distributed the phone number of Florida Gators QB Tim Tebow. LSU fans bombarded Tebow with calls and text messages leading up to the game, which prompted a phone call gesture from Tebow after scoring a touchdown in that matchup.

The Tigers are gearing up for another tough opponent in No. 1 Alabama, and it appears some fans have taken to old tactics, according to Crimson Tide DL Isaiah Buggs. He tweeted out Wednesday morning that he has received “horrible messages” from fans ahead of Saturday’s game.

Buggs is from Louisiana and was considering both LSU and Alabama before committing to the Tide. Still, it is best for fans to cheer on their own team and leave this sort of stuff out of a rivalry.

Buggs has 32 tackles, one tackle for loss, and half a sack for the Crimson Tide this season.

Kickoff for Saturday’s game is set for 8 pm EST on CBS.
