Henry heads to Alabama from California. He actually began his college career at Oklahoma in 2022. After a redshirt season in Norman, the Los Angeles native returned to his home state and landed at Cerritos College.
Henry had a strong 2023 season, earning second-team All-National Conference Central Division recognition. He posted 43 total tackles and led the team in tackles for loss with 7.5. Henry had 3.5 sacks and 1 blocked kick in 2023 over 10 games.
This season, Henry has already notched 5.5 TFLs and 2.0 sacks in 5 games. He has recorded 19 total tackles and 1 fumble recovery in the 2024 campaign.
On the 247Sports JUCO Composite, Henry is rated the No. 1 player in the state of California, No. 2 defensive lineman and No. 2 prospect nationally. Due to the small pool of JUCO players (as more players take advantage of unlimited transfers via the portal), Henry is only rated 3-stars despite being one of the top JUCO prospects available.
In addition to Alabama and Mississippi State, Oregon State and Utah State also showed interest in Henry. He had verbally committed to MSU on June 17.
