Alabama OL Alphonse Taylor not dressed out for Tennessee game
No. 1 Alabama looks to be without one of its starting offensive lineman against No. 9 Tennessee today.
Lester Cotton is at right guard in place of Alphonse Taylor (concussion) during warm-ups.

In fact, Taylor isn’t even dressed out for this huge SEC clash.

The senior right guard sat out practice Monday with a concussion he sustained against Arkansas last Saturday, but he obviously didn’t heal quickly enough to play against Volunteers. The Crimson Tide will turn to sophomore Lester Cotton as it tries to block a stout defensive front featuring Derek Barnett, who entered the weekend third in the SEC in tackles for loss (9.5).
Alabama (6-0, 3-0) and Tennessee (5-1, 2-1) will meet at 3:30 p.m. ET in Knoxville on CBS.
