Dallas Turner will forgo his final year of eligibility at Alabama and declare for the 2024 NFL Draft.

“I’m gone. Ain’t no if, ands or buts about it,” Turner told ESPN’s Alex Scarborough following the Crimson Tide’s season-ending 27-20 loss to Michigan in the Rose Bowl College Football Playoff semifinal on Monday.

Turner, a 5-star recruit and the No. 12 player in the country in the class of 2021, was an impact player right out of the gate for the Tide. As a true freshman, he totaled 8.5 sacks and 30 tackles overall and was an SEC All-Freshman Team selection. In 2022, his sophomore year, he registered 37 tackles and 8.0 TFLs, including 4.0 sacks.

In 2023, ultimately his final year in college, he ended up with career bests in sacks (10.0) and stops for a loss (14.5) and was an All-SEC 1st-team selection following the regular season. He was credited with a sack of JJ McCarthy during Monday’s game.

Turner is projected as a consensus 1st-round pick in the NFL Draft.
