It was not a good week if you were an Alabama football fan, as the Crimson Tide got beat at home by Texas, 34-24, in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night.

Alabama took the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter, but Texas responded by outscoring the Crimson Tide 21-8 in the fourth en route to the victory.

The loss has people wondering about the rest of the season for the Alabama, and even the future moving forward.

One coach who is popular right now is Deion Sanders, who has Colorado 2-0 and the talk of college football right now.

Matthew Barrie and Paul Finebaum discussed a potentially wild possibility where Deion Sanders replaces Nick Saban and becomes the head man in Tuscaloosa.

“If I’m one of the most powerful teams in the country and a coaching switch is in the cards, Deion Sanders is my number one call and I am not even thinking of it,” Barrie said.

Finebaum responded, saying not even Saban is even as popular right now as Sanders.

“They’re all nice coaches, but none of them have the star power,” Finebaum said. “Quite frankly, not even Nick Saban has the star power that Deion Sanders does right now.”

Sanders right now is the talk of college football, but right now, Colorado is still only 2-0. There is still a long ways to go in the season for Alabama, but Sanders is going to start getting rumored for bigger jobs very soon.
