It has been a busy day in the college football world, with Texas firing Tom Herman. The Longhorns are reportedly set to hire Alabama OC Steve Sarkisian as their next head coach.
That, naturally, has sparked a ton of reaction across the internet. Several fans had the same interesting and hilarious suggestion.
Since Alabama coach Nick Saban has a habit of rehabbing former head coaches’ images and sending them off to new jobs, many fans took to Twitter to wonder if former Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn could be heading to Tuscaloosa:

Obviously, that would be a tough pill for fans of both Auburn and Alabama to swallow, but Saban only wants the best assistants possible. It’ll be interesting to see who gets the nod as the Tide’s next offensive coordinator.
