The nation’s No. 3 receiver prospect just announced where he plans to play his college football — Jacorey Brooks is headed to Alabama.

There may not be a better out-of-state pipeline in Southeastern Conference recruiting right now than Alabama’s reach into south Florida for receivers as the Crimson Tide just landed their latest win from the area by securing a commitment from Brooks.

Brooks is now set to follow in the footsteps of Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley and Jerry Jeudy as elite receiver prospects from the Sunshine State to suit up for Nick Saban’s Alabama program.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound recruit from Booker T. Washington High School is now the highest-rated prospect in Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class as the four-star prospect ranks as the country’s No. 37 overall recruit, the No. 3 receiver and Florida’s No. 6 overall prospect in the current recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Brooks put up huge numbers during his junior season for Booker T. Washington as he had 99 receptions for 1,281 yards and 18 scores.

The South Florida native possesses an elite combination of size and speed that Alabama’s offense has featured in recent seasons and should fall right in line as the next great weapon in the Crimson Tide offense.
