Jalen Hurts exploded into superstar status and MVP candidate for the Philadelphia Eagles this season. That season was only marred by a two-game absence late in the regular season due to a shoulder injury, but he has looked good to begin the NFL Playoffs.
In the Divisional Round, Hurts jumpstarted Philadelphia’s blowout of the New York Giants with 3 first-half touchdowns. He finished the game going 16-for-24 passing for 154 yards and 2 touchdowns to go with 9 carries for 34 yards and a touchdown.
Now, Hurts is off of Philadelphia’s practice report heading into the NFC Championship Game matchup vs. San Francisco. On Wednesday, Hurts addressed how he’s feeling this late in the season.
Hurts admitted he’s “felt better” but isn’t going to use anything as an excuse at this point of the year. He also said he knows “I’ve got to get it done” with a chance to play for a Super Bowl on the line.
Asked about lingering effects with his injury to his throwing shoulder, Jalen Hurts said:
“I felt better. But it doesn’t matter. I’ve got to get it done.” https://t.co/PIdawsH5xZ pic.twitter.com/eyvXRR40uW

Sunday’s game in Philadelphia should be a good one with the two teams combining for 27 wins during the regular season. It will be the first matchup between the two sides this season.
