Nick Saban stays mum on Jalen Milroe status as rumors swirl

Nick Saban was asked about Jalen Milroe on Thursday as the Alabama quarterback has been the subject of injury rumors.
Milroe and his teammates are gearing up for Saturday’s game against Texas A&M, but there have been rumblings across social media that he is injured. During his weekly “Hey Coach” radio show on Thursday, Nick Saban said that he didn’t see the rumors.

However, according to Bama Central’s Austin Hannon, any talk of a Milroe injury is a “hoax”:

Alabama is coming off a dominant 40-17 win over Mississippi State. Milroe was 10-of-12 for 164 yards passing, while running it 11 times for 69 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The Crimson Tide now turn their attention to the Aggies, who defeated Arkansas 34-22 to improve to 4-1 on the season. The winner of this game will have an edge in the SEC West race with the teams holding an identical 2-0 mark in conference play.
Kickoff from College Station is set for 3:30 p.m. ET and will be televised on CBS.
