It sounds like Kira Lewis may already be one of the most popular names in the NCAA transfer portal.

Alabama’s impressive freshman entered his name into the portal not long after the school decided to buy out former head coach Avery Johnson. The youngest D1 player in the nation last season, Lewis averaged an impressive 13.5 points, 2.9 assists and 2.6 rebounds a game for the Crimson Tide during his freshman season.

Following his decision to enter the NCAA transfer portal, which doesn’t guarantee he won’t return to Alabama next season, entering the portal simply allows other schools to legally contact him, Evan Daniels of 247Sports is reporting that Lewis has been contacted by Auburn, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Tennessee, among many other programs outside the SEC.

Jeff Goodman of Stadium is also reporting that Tennessee has reached out to Lewis, however, he notes that the freshman has met with Alabama’s new basketball coach Nate Oats and that a return isn’t completely out of the question.

If Lewis does decide to leave Alabama, which of those SEC programs would you least want to see him end up at?
