At the end of the first quarter on Saturday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide found themselves in a surprisingly tight game against the Missouri Tigers, leading only 13-10 after the first 15 minutes of play.

However, from that point on, the Tigers didn’t score and Alabama cruised to an easy 39-10 victory.

On Monday, Alabama LB Mack Wilson joined ESPNU Radio on SiriusXM and discussed the “Alabama standard,” saying the team wants to create turnovers like it did against the Tigers:

“We want to set that standard of being that team that causes a lot of turnovers and get a lot of defensive touchdowns,” he said. “We haven’t been doing too good of a job at that, so that’s the sort of thing we put emphasis on going out. Whenever we practice, we go out and put emphasis on getting turnovers, disrupting the ball and stuff like that.”

The Tide will face another SEC East foe this weekend in Tennessee. We’ll see if Wilson and his teammates continue to force turnovers.
