LOOK: Alabama finds creative way to dry the field ahead of Iron Bowl

The field conditions at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa have been a source of concern in recent weeks, and with rain in the area, that will be amplified on Saturday afternoon.

However, the Alabama Crimson Tide are doing what they can to make things as playable as possible, and that includes going to some unique lengths.

As you can see in the video below, shared on Twitter by Alabama AD Greg Byrne, a helicopter was brought in to blow-dry the field:

How effective that is isn’t clear, but the Tide are trying everything to get the field in the best condition possible for the rivalry game against Auburn.
