If you thought the Quinnen Williams hype had gotten crazy this fall, just wait until you see what NFL teams start to say after reviewing his film and testing him during the pre-draft process.

The fastest rising prospect on Alabama’s roster this fall experienced a meteoric rise in just his second season on the field for the Tide, he redshirted his first season in Tuscaloosa, and draft analysts have certainly begun to take notice. Williams has been chosen as the No. 1 pick in the upcoming 2019 NFL Draft by USA TODAY’s Draft Wire.

Many have compared Williams to Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald, who has been destroying NFL gameplans since the day he was selected in the first round by the NFL franchise. While Sean McVay and his offense deserve all the praise for what they’ve accomplished in Los Angeles, the success of the team’s defense starts up front and is lead by Donald, who led the NFL in sacks this season from the defensive tackle position, with 20.5.

If Williams can make a similar impact for Arizona, he will most undoubtedly be worth the first overall pick in the draft this spring.
