Reactions pour in after Alabama reportedly locks in on next HC following Nick Saban retirement

Most of the college football world has already heard the news: Nick Saban has entered retirement and has coached his final season at Alabama.
The college football icon won 7 national titles across his time as a head coach, 6 of which came at Alabama. He leaves shoes that are nearly impossible to fill.
And the Tide didn’t take long to reportedly decide on a successor for the greatest head coach the college game has ever seen. On Friday reports came from ESPN’s Chris Low that Alabama is set to hire Washington’s Kalen DeBoer, with an official announcement expected “soon.”

With that report came plenty of reaction on social media, with some praising the hire while others made fun of the improvement between travelling in the B1G and travelling in the SEC with Alabama’s schedule.

One thing is certain, Kalen DeBoer has won everywhere he’s been.
He took over a 4-8 Washington team and got to the national championship in just two seasons, with lesser talent.
Recruiting may be a question, for now, but Alabama has all the resources for him to succeed.
