The post-National Signing Day coaching carousel appears to be set to spin once again. This time, it’s Alabama that appears set to lose a coach immediately after signing day.

According to Manish Mehta, Jets Insider for the NY Daily News, Karl Dunbar is “in discussions” with the Steelers. The Alabama defensive line coach for the Crimson Tide would take over the same role in Pittsburgh should he leave.

Dunbar has been with Alabama since 2016, after serving 10 seasons in the NFL with Buffalo, the Jets, Chicago and Minnesota.

On the bright side, considering all the coaching turnover on Nick Saban’s staff since winning the national championship, there’s possibly no team more prepared to handle a coaching change like this heading into spring football.
