All eyes in the college football world will be fixed on Tuscaloosa, Alabama for likely one of the biggest regular-season games of the year: Alabama hosting LSU at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith made his call for the big game on Friday’s edition of “First Take”. And unsurprisingly, he did it with his typical bluster and showmanship.

“Do you remember how Clemson rolled over you in that national title game? Beat you down 44-16? Beat you like you stole something?” Smith said. “Was that misery still there? The answer was yes. You have to make up for this. You’ve been doing so all year long…You wanna go back and get a championship, you can’t let LSU get in your way. Take them out! And that’s exactly what Alabama will do tomorrow.”
It’s interesting to see how passionate Smith is about the Tide winning the football game considering he didn’t even attend the school. But, since this is Stephen A. Smith, it’s either over the top or not at all.
We’ll see if this little motivational speech by Smith helps the Tide as they take on the Tigers on Saturday in Tuscaloosa.
