The Alabama Crimson Tide landed a commitment from another top prospect Saturday night.
Four-star JUCO cornerback Ronald Williams committed to Alabama over Texas A&M and Auburn, among others. Nick Saban went in-home with Williams Saturday, and he was able to nab his commitment.
The cornerback plays for Hutchinson Community College, and he’s originally a Ferriday, Louisiana, native. Williams is ranked as the nation’s No. 14 overall JUCO prospect and the the No. 5 cornerback for the class of 2020, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Earlier Saturday, Clemson jumped Alabama for the nation’s top recruiting class, but with Williams’ commitment, the Tide may overtake the Tigers again.
Williams will enroll at Alabama in January.
The 6-foot-2, 188-pound prospect shared his commitment via Twitter.
