Texas and Oklahoma will have their welcome to the SEC moments next season, as the Longhorns face Georgia and Sooners take on Alabama.

Both the matchups were announced on Monday night. The Longhorns and Bulldogs will meet on Oct. 19, 2024. The Crimson Tide travels to Norman on Nov. 23, 2024.

Texas has played Georgia 1 time in the last decade. The two met in 2019 in the Sugar Bowl, when former Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger announced that the Longhorns were back after the 28-21 win.

Alabama and Oklahoma have played each other 4 times since 2000. In the last 10 years, the Crimson Tide and Sooners played against one another in the College Football Playoff and Sugar Bowl. Alabama won that Playoff game 45-34 before it lost to Clemson in the national championship.

Texas and Oklahoma are going to have some great matchups in their 1st season in the SEC.

The full schedule release is going to be on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET on ESPN and SEC Network.
