Arkansas and Texas Tech have played in football 37 times in a series that dates back to 1957. However, the Razorbacks and Red Raiders haven’t met in recent years, with the last matchup between the 2 teams coming in 2015.

That drought will be coming to an end … but not until next decade.

On Wednesday, Arkansas announced a future home-and-home series against Texas Tech. The teams will play in Lubbock on Sept. 14, 2030, then face off again the next year in Fayetteville on Sept. 13, 2031.

From 1957-91, Arkansas and Texas Tech played every year, as both schools were members of the Southwest Conference. Since then, the only times the Razorbacks and Red Raiders came in a home-and-home series in 2014 and 2015, which the teams split. Arkansas won in Lubbock in 2014, then Texas Tech bounced back and won in Fayetteville the following year.

The Razorbacks still lead the all-time series between the teams, 29-8.
