Incoming Arkansas defensive lineman Briston Guidry underwent what is being reported a “minor” knee surgery on Sunday to repair a meniscus injury, according to WholeHogSports.com‘s Tom Murphy.

“It was something that happened previously in high school,” Bielema said. “Really nothing major. …Our goal is to have him back by mid-July and he’ll be able to roll back into things before then, but he should be 100 percent.”

Guidry (6-foot-2, 290 pounds) was a 4-star prospect and the No. 31 overall defensive tackle from the 2016 recruiting class, picking the Razorbacks over other SEC programs such as LSU, Mississippi State, and others this past cycle.

In three seasons with Archbishop Rummel (Metairie, LA), Guidry produced 244 tackles (37 TFL), 25.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a safety.
