Arkansas basketball fans are excited for Saturday’s showdown with Kentucky. On Friday night, Razorback fans gave John Calipari a fitting welcome to Fayetteville.
Calipari stood out in his Kentucky blue at Herman’s Ribhouse Friday night. Arkansas fans decided to welcome him with their signature chant. Calipari appeared to be amused by the Hog fans’ enthusiasm.

With Nick Wright of Herman’s Ribhouse. It’s my annual stop when in Fayetteville. Had dinner tonight with my longtime friend John Tyson. If you are anywhere close, it’s worth the drive!!! pic.twitter.com/Qd5Z8fX44i

Arkansas fans have helped make Bud Walton Arena one of the toughest places to play. On Jan. 4, Vanderbilt left with a 75-74 win over the Razorbacks. Arkansas eventually turned things around, starting Jan. 12 with a win over Mizzou. Since then, the No. 18 Hogs are perfect at home, including wins over Auburn and Tennessee.
No. 6 Kentucky is 6-1 in February. The Wildcats are on a 2-game winning streak, with back-to-back victories over Alabama and LSU.
