Arkansas has received a verbal commitment from Lexington (Ky.) Frederick Douglass offensive lineman Zuri Madison.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound Madison revealed his decision on Tuesday, picking the Razorbacks over Miami and West Virginia. He also held Power 5 offers from Kentucky, Illinois, and Duke.

Madison took official visits to each of his 3 finalists. He was in Fayetteville over the weekend of June 16. Miami got the last look, but the Razorbacks had been trending in the right direction leading up to Tuesday’s announcement.

It’s the second known commitment along the offensive line for Arkansas so far this cycle, as Madison joins in-state 3-star lineman Kobe Branham. Madison plays right tackle for Frederick Douglas but Arkansas might be able to move him around.

He ranks as the No. 37 interior offensive lineman in the class and the No. 3 recruit from the state of Kentucky, according to the industry-generated 247 Composite. Overall, he’s viewed as the No. 593 prospect in the 2024 class.

He becomes the 13th known pledge for Arkansas so far this cycle. You can see his highlight tape below, via Hudl:
