Arkansas lands commitment from blue-chip 2026 wide receiver
Arkansas landed a verbal commitment from Texarkana (Texas) Liberty-Eylau wide receiver Dequane Prevo.
A 5-foot-10, 160-pound receiver, Prevo is a 4-star recruit in the industry-generated 247 Composite. He was also considering Penn State, Oklahoma, and Texas. Prevo announced his commitment on his Instagram page.

In the industry-generated 247 Composite, Prevo ranks as the No. 47 receiver in the 2026 class and the No. 40 prospect from the state of Texas. Overall, he ranks No. 292 in the national player rankings.
After just 12 receptions as a sophomore, Prevo broke out in a major way as a junior this fall. He brought in 62 receptions for 1,355 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown. Prevo is a multi-sport athlete as well, playing basketball for Liberty-Eylau and also running track.
The Razorbacks are up to 7 known commitments in the 2026 class. The group ranks 10th in the Composite team rankings. Coach Sam Pittman and his staff are making good progress on the class, but there’s still work to be done on the 2025 cycle ahead of next month’s early signing period. Arkansas has 23 known commitments in the 2025 cycle.

Big mistake. Plenty of time to get it right.
Good decision. I look forward to seeing this young man on the hill!
I doubt he ever shows up in Fayetteville. If he is really that good, there is no reason he would want to play for a loser like Arkansas. If he does show up, he will be gone in the portal within two seasons.
This “committment” is only temporary in orderto get attention from better schools.
