Sam Pittman and Bobby Petrino appear to have found their quarterback for 2024.

Boise State transfer Taylen Green announced his commitment to Arkansas on Monday via social media following a weekend visit to Fayetteville.

Green heads to Arkansas after being named Offensive MVP of the Mountain West Championship Game. He was 12-of-15 passing for 226 yards and 2 touchdowns in the game, also rushing 8 times for 90 yards and 2 scores in the win over UNLV. Green went 121-of-212 passing for 11 touchdowns and 9 interceptions on the season, rushing 77 times for 434 yards and 9 scores.

Green returns closer to home to continue his career. He was a Lewisville (Texas) High School standout before signing with Boise State. Green, listed at 6-6, 221 pounds, arrives in Fayetteville as a redshirt junior with 2 remaining seasons of eligibility.

In November, it was reported that KJ Jefferson was expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Jefferson, a multi-year starter, has not made any announcements about his 2024 season plans.
