Expansion is coming to Arkansas’ Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

On Thursday, the University of Arkansas trustees approved a $160 million renovation to the stadium that would add a proposed 4,800 seats. Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium currently holds 72,000. As reported by WholeHogSports.com, the board passed the motion by an 8-2 vote.

Arkansas’ athletics department plans a $160 million expansion to the football stadium that will add 4,800 mostly luxury boxes, suites and club seats by 2018. The athletics department has promised to pay back the bonds through ticket revenue and private donations.
