At this rate, every senior on Arkansas’ roster may be coming back for another season in 2021.

Well, not everyone, as Sam Pittman noted on Monday that Feleipe Franks is not expected to return for the Razorbacks next season but so far, four seniors have publicly announced their decisions to return for one more season.

If you missed the news over the Christmas break, First-Team All-SEC linebacker Grant Morgan, starting left tackle Myron Cunningham and starting right guard Ty Clary all announced they will return to Arkansas in 2021 despite being seniors during the 2020 season. On Monday, receiver De’Vion Warren added his name to the list.

Now comes the news that senior tight end Blake Kern will be back for 2021. Kern does not have any social media, so his position coach Jon Cooper announced the news for him online.

These returns are made possible due to the NCAA allowing all players a free season of eligibility this season due to the pandemic. In case you are wondering, returning seniors will not count against the 85-scholarship limit in 2021.

Kern registered career highs in catches (20), receiving yards (201) and touchdowns (2) during the 2020 season.

The level of buy-in is off the charts in Fayetteville as Pittman predicted on Monday that a few more seniors will be announcing their return to the team in the coming days.
