Connor Vanover is coming home.

The 7-foot-3 Little Rock native played only one season for Cal before deciding to leave the program via transfer and announced on Wednesday he plans to continue his athletic career at Arkansas to play in Eric Musselman’s program.

Due to NCAA transfer rules, Vanover will have to sit out next season on the court but he will have three seasons to play for the Razorbacks following his one season on the bench. In his lone season with Cal, Vanover averaged 7.5 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.

“Excited for the next step in my journey to help me grow and fulfill my dreams,” Vanover tweeted out on Wednesday. “I am grateful and bless to have the opportunity [to] be an Arkansas Razorback. I’m Coming Home!! WPS!!”
